Financial giving can be divided into two categories: tithes and offerings. The Bible teaches us that we worship the Lord with our tithe, which is ten percent of our income contributed to the church on a regular basis. When we feel called to give over and above our tithe, we do so as an offering.
How to Give
We are using Planning Center's Giving service to process online giving. It is safe, secure, and easy to use.
Planning Center's Giving service uses Stripe to securely process your giving. You save your bank or card information to make it easy to set up automated giving or to quickly give each week. All bank and card information is securely saved with Stripe and is never exposed to us, Planning Center, or anyone else.
Give Online
You can go to our giving page and give from your bank account or with a debit/credit card. We encourage you to set up an automated giving schedule to have your “first fruits” go to the Lord every time.
Give Via Mobile App
You can download the Church Center mobile app where you can set up your online giving profile. Within the mobile app you can set up automated giving or one-time giving from your bank account, credit card, or debit card.

Why do we give?
God is the ultimate giver who gave the most precious gift imaginable - His Son Jesus - to die on the cross for our sins. Our lives are transformed by the gospel of Christ. When we learn to give generously, it changes us, making us more like our generous Creator.
What is a Tithe?
The word "tithe" literally means tenth or 10%. Tithing is giving the first ten percent of our income back to God. The Bible says that everything we have comes from Him, so tithing is actually returning to God what belongs to Him. When we tithe, we are putting God first in our lives and trusting Him to provide for all of our needs.
What is an offering?
An offering is anything we give beyond the 10% tithe.
What do my funds go forwards?
When you support Emmanuel Assembly of God through your tithes and offerings you help us fulfill our mission to reach people for Christ. Your funds will be used for some of the following things:
- Missionaries worldwide that we support.
- Local missions in our community.
- Our general operating expenses such as salaries and building expenses.
- Helping the needy in our community.
- Our kids and teens ministries.
- Other ministries within our church.
