To fulfil the great commission of God through community outreach and missions. Evangelising the unsaved through love and the knowledge of Christ's saving grace. Discipling new Christian in God's word to spiritual maturity so they can fulfil their Christian walk bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Following Hurricane Gustav, Mississippi Assemblies of God Disaster Response is working hard to provide support and supplies to those affected by the storm.

Four COH disaster distribution sites in operation
Convoy of Hope has established a "Point of Distribution" in New Iberia, Louisiana, to aid with the suffering resulting from Hurricane Gustav. Additional relief supplies - water, food and ice - are being distributed in Baton Rouge, Donaldsonville, and Houma, Louisiana.
